Rosedoodle is the first character that appears in Lawl Legacy.

Playstyle[]

Rosedoodle herself embodies the crazy and bizarre adventures she goes on as well as her energetic personality, making her a Mix-up type character with emphasis on confusing and overwhelming opponents.

Entrance[]

Loading Avatar...[]

Rose will have her avatar load and be dropped down onto the battlefield.

Neutral Special[]

Nuggies![]

Rosedoodle will pull out a chicken nugget in front of herself. This nugget will put her into a stance that, when an opponent gets hit by it, will stun them. This stance can be cancelled out of either by an opponent attacking Rose while in the stance or by pressing the Shield button. Pressing B will poison the opponent for five seconds, while pressing A will have Rose throw the opponent forwards. The opponent can also get out of it by rapidly mashing.

Inspiration: Rose commonly offers other players "nuggies" and forces them to eat it, causing them to either enjoy it or despise it.

Side Special[]

Vroom![]

Rose will hop onto a motorcycle and ride forward horizontally regardless if on the ground or in the air. The motorcycle itself has a hitbox on the front that hurts opponents and can meteor smash/bury opponents in the air. This serves as a horizontal recovery option for Rose.

Inspiration: In BEEPU BEEPU BIRTHDAY BASH, multiple players in a "bike gang" similar to Rose's chibi avatar ride motorcycles throughout the area.

Down Special[]

NO U[]

Rose will quickly pull out a Reverse Uno card. If no contact has been made with it, Rose will quickly put it away. Otherwise, Rose will immediately counter by smack the opponent away, dealing damage and a little knockback.

Inspiration: Rose often uses the Reverse Uno card as a defense for when she is called cute or adorable.

Up Special[]

Beepu Toss[]

Rose will be grabbed by Lolathon and thrown in one of three directions pressed by the control stick. This turns Rose into a flying hitbox and serves a "get-off-me" tool in case of close quarters. In the air, this is done automatically and will send Rose forwards.

Inspiration: Two instances (and the only instances) of Rosedoodle being tossed by Lolathon and another player.

FINAL SMASH[]

HONEYBUN HORROR[]

Rose will jump off the stage, and multiple honeybuns will start spawning on the stage. Some will grab the opponents while others will directly hit the opponents. The Final Smash ends with a giant version of Rose (which can be controlled using the control stick) slamming down on the stage, dealing massive damage and knockback.

KO Sounds[]

  1. "NO!"
  2. *Squees*
  • Star KO: "What the fu--?!"
  • Screen KO: "What the--?!"

Taunts[]

  • Up: Faces the camera and says "Beepu Beepu!"
  • Side: Faces the camera again and says "Yay, death!"
  • Down: Poses menacingly forwards.

  2. Does her normal intro animation, but says "The end, thanks for watching!" instead.
  3. Puts up an Uno Card while saying "NO!"

Trivia[]

  • Rosedoodle herself was one of the first characters conceived for Lawl Legacy, shortly after the cancellation of Lawl Ultimate THM. As such, she is one of the oldest offical characters, alongside Vagineer and Bootleg Spongebob.
  • Rosedoodle also is the first patched character in Lawl Legacy, thanks to the Christmas Update Extravaganza!
  • Originally, Rose's Down Special was supposed to be Buried, which had her burrow into the ground and pop up after pressing B or waiting a few seconds. This was scrapped as it shared too many similarities to Ratboy Genius's Down Special and was reworked into the Final Smash before being scrapped entirely.
  • Rose also had a different Up Special, G'nomed, based on the numerous times Rose was gnomed. This would have Rose be boosted into the air due to the gnome and stun opponents if they got close to it. This was scrapped alongside Buried for being too generic and not providing a good recovery option.
