A cave appears and Herobrine walks out of it and onto the battlefield
Neutral B - Spider Web
Herobrine spawns a pile of web made by a spider in front of him. Anyone who walks over it is slowed down as he/she walks out of the webs. You can use down smashes to escape as long as they involve spinning around or explosions. The webbing can also be placed on walls and ceilings, but not in the air. Be careful, Herobrine can also get caught in the spider's web. There can only be 3 piles of webbing at a time and they evaporate in 15 seconds.
Side B - Professional Craftsmanship
Herobrine constructs a 1x3 Herobrine Totem made of meat with his face literally on it. If you build it at full height, it can do some special things. Anyone who hits the top with a fire attack burns it, thus turning the Herobrine face's eyes red. If this happens, Herobrine, gives you 18% damage no matter where you are or he is. If Herobrine's hit while showing off his expertise at carpentry, construction, and so on, the tower crumbles.
Up B - Look Behind You!
A sign post that says "Look behind you!" appears randomly on-screen. Herobrine then teleports 1 second later. He can do it in the direction desirably chosen using the analog stick. If anyone hits the sign post, Herobrine's teleportation is cancelled.
Down B - Monster Spawner
Herobrine spawns a random entity of his own creation. It can be one of the following:
Ditchdigger Zombie (100HP)
It acts like a regular zombie in Minecraft, but its shovel can do more damage if the zombie smacks you in the noggin with it. It can also dig its own ditch and hide in the stage floor (unlikely to happen on light platforms). Though it doesn't appear in the same hole it dug, so keep an eye out. You can try to kill it with down airs and throwing down explosives while airborne.
Herobrine Chicken (50HP)
It's like a chicken, but with Herobrine's milky white eyes. If you manage to hit it, it'll attack you, dealing constant damage unless someone else literally knocks it off. If it dies, it leaves eggs that aren't used for eating, but for throwing. Much like Minecraft!
Skeleton King (150HP)
He uses his sword for close-up opponents, which deals average sword damage, and his bow+arrow, which deals damage as average as Link's arrows. He can call forth a minion to assist his assistance with Herobrine, which takes less damage than the king (due to 75HP).
Elite Warrior (200HP, not to be confused with StevenStar777's spinoff)
This is a really difficult beast to tussle with. It takes 37% as much damage as you would normally deal. This has a 0.1% chance of being spawned by Herobrine.
Final Smash - Nightmare of Fate
Herobrine spawns a bed in front of him. Anyone who touches the bed falls asleep in it. The opponent soon transprts to a nightmare world, made of netherflesh and netherbricks. The opponent walks through a tight-spaced labyrinth as Herobrine will spawn in 1 minute if the opponent is unable to escape. If Herobrine indeed spawns, the player suffers from the obligatory instant KO.

Snake: Well from the look of it the lava bucket got kicked long ago.

Snake: Too bad i don't have any wheat....
Herobrine fisrt appeared in a single image detailing an encounter. It was posted on a thread at the forums, and gained very little attention. It stated how Herobrine appeared in someone's single-player game, littering the map with various pyramids and tunnels. It was only later that Herobrine grew in popularity, while the brocast staff staged a hoax in one of their live-streams. Later on, there was another video showing Herobrine in a user-made Java field. The livestream went down after the player then ran and saved, only to resume 10 minutes later, where Herobrine has disappeared. During this stream, the player can be heard talking to his wife, stating that he was trolling, which flooded the livestream chat with outrage. The player then faked a game crash. During this crash, all watchers were redirected to another page, featuring Herobrine's face, but with real, frantically rolling eyes in the place of his block eyes, modified to be completely black. When viewing the page's source, there was a jumble of characters and letters, after removing all non-alphabet characters, the following message was revealed:
"It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they couldn't WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being tortured. The only way that they realized that they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP."
The message keeps telling the viewer to "wake up", implying they are living in a fantasy world, and this text hidden in the passage is their "note". It's widely believed all of his appearances in the stream and outside are retextured paintings, retextured iron doors or other players, albiet with the name tag removed above their head. Since then, there has been a huge increase in his popularity, propelling Herobrine to meme status, making moderators of the wiki and forums need to take extra steps to stem the flower of user-made spam. If he even exists, Herobrine wouldn't have any power outside of a Minecraft game.
