Clubhouse Door

Mickey opens the door from his Clubhouse and enters the battle.

Special Attacks

Neutral B - Paintbrush

Mickey gets out his paintbrush from Epic Mickey and either shoots paint or thinner. If you hold down B, you can choose between paint and thinner with the analog stick. The paint can make items or become a slip trap if it hits the ground. The thinner does more damage to opponents than the paint, and it can erase items and traps. If any paint is shot in someone's eyes, it reverses the controls for 10 seconds or until some thinner gets in their face to dissolve it. When used on extra enemies in parts such as SSE, the paint leaves behind food to heal Mickey while the thinner gives him extra money (same goes for the effects in coinfests).

Side B - Spin Attack

Mickey does a spin attack like in Epic Mickey: Castle of Illusion. Similar to I.M. Meen, the spin can be charged up for more...spinning. It also has a suck-in effect for those who try to use Mickey as a footstool like the tornado hazard in Hyrule Castle. This is also perfect for horizontal recoveries because Mickey's falling speed is chopped in half, similar to the Luigi Cyclone, enabling him to float down. Therefore, the longer you charge it for, the further you go.

Up B - Oswald the Lucky Rabbit

Like in Epic Mickey 2, Oswald flies Mickey around as if he were Tails. During this lucky flight, you can steer Oz in any direction with the analog stick. Pressing B during the flight makes Oswald use the remote for disarming traps and getting opponents off you. It can also manage to vaporize weak projectiles and thrown items, awaiting to pelt Disney's famous mouse. The range of the lightning is similar to the maximum distance of Mario's fireballs. Pressing A cancels the flight.

Down B - Mystery Mouseketool

Mickey says "Oh, Toodles!" and Toodles from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse comes over to give Mickey a mystery mouseketool. The mystery mouseketool can utilize a rare item unlike the effects of the paint. This is useful for getting stuff like asst. trophies, smart bombs, or even Billy Mitchell's hot sauce (yes, that's an item here). This can only be used once per stock, so like Adam West said to Quagmire: when the times comes, you'll know. The use won't count if an opponent knocks Toodles away.

Final Smash - Suicide Mouse

Mickey gets out a Game Boy model 1 and a cartridge of Suicide Mouse.exe. He inserts the Game Boy cartridge for Suicide Mouse and throws the Game Boy itself. Anyone hit by the Game Boy (or walking near it) gets sucked in and is cast as Mickey. This is where you must find your way out in the next 20 seconds. Press A to interact with things. Any jumpscare flashes can stun you. If you don't get out after the 20 seconds, you appear in the pit and all the imagery flashes in your face enough to give you a seizure, making the trapped opponent explode in a bloody fashion, resulting in an instant KO. If no one touches the Game Boy in 20 seconds, it disappears, cancelling the final smash.

Snake Codec

Colonel: "Snake, you know who that is?"

Snake: "You're kidding, right? It's Mickey Mouse."

Colonel: "Mickey's made his first appearance in 1928 in the animated monochrome cartoon Steamboat Willie. And since then, he's been a worldwide phenomenon as Disney's mascot. There's possibly not a single person, young or old, that doesn't know the anthropomorphic cartoon mouse. He's that famous."

Snake: "Yeah, I know. Obvious status is obvious. Lucky I survived long enough to meet him on the field of battle."

Colonel: "This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance, Snake. Get out there and show him what you can do."

Snake: "Got it."

Character Description

Mickey Mouse was at first a monochrome cartoon character that revolutionized classic animation ever since Steamboat Willie by having there be sound in his animated shorts. He was created by none other than Walt Disney. During World War II, Mickey was on support posters and such. He was also in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which pretty much has the only moment with both him and Bugs Bunny on screen together. It's been over 80 years and he's still around to this day.

Steamboat Willie

  • Walt Disney originally wanted to call him Mortimer, but his wife didn't really find that to be much of a proper name for him. She suggested that he'd go with calling him Mickey.
  • Mickey was first seen on a screen testing of the animated monochrome cartoon "Plane Crazy".
