The Pyro appears on the battlefield already on fire.
Side Smash - Airblast
Pyro uses his flamethrower to air blast opponents back. This smash can also reflect projectiles.
Up Smash - Air Fire Trail
Pyro creates a rainbow of fire the burns enemies upwards.
Down Smash - Hand fire
Pyro releases two flames on both sides of him causing massive damage to opponents on either side of him.
Netural B - Flamethrower
The Pyro uses his homemade Flamethrower to burn opponents mid-range. It causes rapid minor damage when someone gets hit by the fire, but it dosen't have an afterburn effect, unlike TF2. He can't move around while using it and unlike Charizard and Bowser's flamethrower Pyro's does not die down.
Side B - Flaregun
The Pyro uses his Flare Gun to shoot a flare. In terms of speed and distance, this travels farther than the Flamethrower. It'll go from one end of the stage to the other before it automatically explodes, and does a small amount of damage as a single hit from the Flamethrower.
Up B - Thermal Thruster
The Pyro gets his jetpack out and can launch himself into the air. This acts the same like Diddy Kong's Barrel Rocket.
Down B - Shotgun
Pyro pulls out a shotgun that can push enemies back a show distance and also does 5% damage. The shotgun cannot counter projectiles like Mario's fireball or Pit's bow.
Final Smash - Nostromo Napalmer
The Pyro upgrades his normal Flamethrower into a more powerful one which shoots a beam of flames and burns anyone in his way.
Star KOSFX: *muffled scream*
Screen KOSFX: "Ow!"
Up: laughs as he holds aloft his Flamethrower
Sd: plays his fire axe like a guitar
Dn: looks down
1. laughs as he holds aloft his Flamethrower
2. plays his fire axe like a guitar
3. (vs. other TF2 opponents) holds aloft his Flamethrower "Ha-ha!"
Only two things are known for sure about the mysterious Pyro: he sets things on fire and he doesn't speak. In fact, only the part about setting things on fire is undisputed. Some believe his occasional rasping wheeze may be an attempt to communicate through a mouth obstructed by a filter and attached to lungs ravaged by constant exposure to his asbestos-lined suit. Either way, he's a fearsome, inscrutable, on-fire Frankenstein of a man. If he even is a man.
Role in SSE
- The down special was from ARL3's Meet the Medic YTP that was controversailly removed by Valve, making it the first special attack that came from ARL3's own material similar to Frollo's neutral special.
- His "Meet the" video can be seen as an extra in Portal 2.
