ARL[]

Entrance[]

Smoke of the Brawler[]

The Spy appears on the battlefield from a cloud of smoke.

Special Attacks (ARL)[]

Neutral B - Revolver[]

The Spy shoots people with his Revolver. For every 6 shots, you have to wait 5 seconds before being able to fire again. After the 6 shots, he can be left open.

Side B - Cloak[]

The Spy turns invisible and then reappears. The distance he goes is basically horizontal and at a certain distance. You are immune to attacks while you do the same method as a chameleon, making it perfect for evading projectiles. Basically, it's like a roll.

Up B - Dead Ringer[]

The Spy takes damage and then teleports. As you recloak, you are given some invincibility. However, the more you use it in one stock, the more damage you take per use. The maximum is 25%.

Down B - Disguise[]

The Spy disguises himself as the nearest opponent (the limitation is mid-range). The opponent this man takes on the mask of is shown in the player box. While he takes on someone else's identity, he has limited movement. He can also do the opponent's neutral special in his own sneaky fashion. If you take over 25% of damage in one go while you're disguised, one of the strings will break, deactivating your disguise. If both of the mask's strings break, you won't be able to reuse it until your next stock. Taunt in order to remove the mask.

Final Smash - Right Behind You[]

The Spy disappears and will then reappear behind the nearest opponent's back. He then does what he does best and backstabs them, knocking them out of the stage.

Trivia[]

Lawler's Mod[]

Entrance[]

Out of the Shadows[]

The Spy appears on the battlefield from a cloud of smoke, similar to ARL.

Special Attacks (Lawler's Mod)[]

Neutral B - Sapper[]

The Spy throws out his trusty Sapper. The Sapper itself will attach to any traps and will nullify all function from them. After 5 seconds of this, the Sapper will explode, destroying the trap and possibly damaging nearby opponents. The Sapper can be removed by the opponent using Smash Attacks. Additionally, the Sapper can be tossed at other opponents to deal small flinching damage.

When it hits the ground, the Sapper will become a trap and can restrict opponents when stepped on. Opponents can mash out in order to escape, however. When a Sapper is used as a trap, another one cannot be thrown out and you have to wait 6 seconds (if one is used) in order to throw another one. You can grab the trap variation of it in order to put it back in your arsenal. And yes, this variation can be sapped by other Sappers.

Side B - Revolver[]

The Spy will shoot his revolver. You can only shoot one bullet at a time, though it does have full range and deals slighly low damage as well as knockback. You can shoot up or down, and you can additionally shoot while running. This Special is mainly used as a defensive anti-air, get-off-me tool, or to rack in damage.

Up B - Disguise Kit[]

The Spy will pull out his disguise kit. This kit, at first, will send out a shockwave that briefly stuns the opponent and deals no damage. However, landing the Special will gain an opponent's disguise, indicated by the HUD icon. When the Up Special is pressed again, you will gain the opponent's Up Special. Much like Kirby, these disguised Specials can be used to your advantage against the opponent or giving yourself a recovery. You are stuck with the disguise until you are K.O.ed, and having no disguise means having no recovery. Gaining a disguise from a Spy will have you gain a generic teleport move (literally, you use the Teleporters for this version of the Special).

Down B - Cloak[]

The Spy will go invisible using his watch. This grants you a 1.25x speed boost and you cannot see yourself. Enemy projectiles will phase through you, though the cloak does last a short time and can be cancelled with any attack. Attacking someone from behind while invisible will have Spy backstab the opponent, dealing massive damage and knockback.

Final Smash - Fatal Stab[]

The FS starts with Spy stabbing forwards, which deals small damage. After this, the Spy appears behind the opponent saying "Right behind you." and fatally backstabs them, which sends them flying out of the stage with high damage and knockback. Successfully K.O.ing the opponents with the FS will have him disguise himself as the opponent for 15 seconds retaining stuff such as moves and stats from the person who was K.O.ed.

KOSFX[]

KOSFX1: "Mon dieu!"

KOSFX2: *screams*

Star KOSFX: *screams much longer*

Screen KOSFX: *smacks against the screen*

Taunts[]

Up: "Time for the killing stroke!" Spy then pulls out a knife and gets into a fighting stance.

Sd: "Oh, please." Spy will take a smoke from his cigar.

Dn: Spy wears an Engineer disguise and says, "Why don't we just give up, pardner?" in a bad Engineer impression.

Victory Options + Failure/Clap[]

  1. Spy is sitting on a chair and says, "Congratulations, you're a failure."
  2. Spy pulls out his revolver and twirls his butterfly knife and says "Gentlemen?" while smirking at the camera.
  3. Spy, with his back facing the camera, arms crossed, says, "You disgust me." and turns his head in disgust.
  • Failure/Clap: Spy facepalms in regret.

Standard Attacks[]

Jab -

Character Description[]

The backstabber. The thieving rogue. These are words to describe the fabulous Spy. He is considered a ladies' man and a person shrouded in mystery. What is the true identity of this cunning cavalcade of riddles? No one really knows. All that is known is once you turn your back on him, you're as good as dead literally and metaphorically.

Extras[]

Costumes:

  • Black and BLU: Spy wears the opposite team color, that being blue.

Trivia[]

  • This moveset is considered a both remake of ARL's Spy moveset, as it was originally a joke moveset, and Gadzooks' old moveset due to Gadzooks making moveset concepts before the beginning of Lawler's Mod.
